幕府山在南京市西北方的长江之滨，山峦延绵起伏，西起上元门，东至燕子矶，长约12里。幕府山有五座山峰，主峰名北固峰，峰下有幽深的石洞。中峰有仙人洞和虎跑泉等名胜；西北二峰合称夹萝峰，俗名“夹骤峰”。幕府山东面，沿江有石灰岩山岭，明洪武年间在山旁建有观音阁，所以称为观音山。在幕府山北侧沿江漫步，仰望那些逸岩陡壁，随处可见玲珑剔透的岩溶奇观。

　　In the vicinity of the Yangtze River to the northwest of Nanjing, Mufu Mountain is featured by undulat－ing ranges starting from Shangyuanmen City-Gate in its west to Yanziji in its east with a length of about 6 kilometers. It has five peaks, with the main-peak named Beigufeng which overlooks serene and deep stone-caves underneath. The middle peak has such famous scenic spots as Immortal Cave and Running-Tiger Spring, while the western peak and northern peak are jointly called as Jialuofeng which is commonly termed as Jiazhoufeng. There are lime-stone ridges lying along the river in the east of Mufu Mountain. Beside the mountain, there was a Guanyin (Mother Buddha) Pavilion built under Hongwu reign in the Ming Dynasty, hence leading to the name Guanyin Mountain. Strolling along the river in the north of Mufu Mountain while looking up at those transcendent rocks and steep cliffs, one can see delicately and exquisitely wrought karsts of wonder everywhere.曹建新 译
